Fresh Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
I made this for my family on my Grandmother's 80th birthday. I took a chance since I have never made it before.. it was AMAZING!! I used a dried fruit mix, which I think brought a bit more color and diversity to it.. My own Grandmother (the cook in the family) asked for the recipe!! Thank you so much for posting this.

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
Absolutely amazing. If you use chicken strips instead it tastes like chicken tenders, I put the oven to 300 and cooked only for 20 min in this case. I have made this three times now, twice for my family, once for friends. My Friend usually HATES chicken, but loved it. It always comes out very moist which is hard to do with Chicken. It's so easy to make and nice to know you can spend more time on sides etc. WONDERFUL!! Thanks for sharing this recipe that will be making for years to come.

Naan

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2007
Wonderful tasting! With only a Charcoal grille and early darkness this time of year, I did it all in the dark and it wasnt easy to not burn it. I would try to roll out the dough inside, but it would retract a lot making it hard to cook all the way through due to thickness. Im not too experienced with dough, but does anyone know what makes it so rubbery and retract?

Guacamole

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
My Dad has always made wonderful guac, I was skeptical that being a native San Diegan I would find the best Guacamole I have ever tasted, but I did. This is WONDERFUL! You can eat it right away, but I found it key to let the lime juice, onion, garlic, and cilantro flavors mix for an hour or so in the fridge. Even better than Su casa's fresh table side guacamole. USE FRESH INGREDIANTS... I have made it three times in the past 3 days, and I used some onion that wasnt quite fresh and it wasnt as good. I also subbed air loom tomatoes, but they werent as good as the Roma. I dont know if you can improve this recipe if you try.. although maybe a sqeeze of orange which I will try next time.

Sunday Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
I have never made rolls from scratch before, tell you the truth, i am really not a good baker in general. This was an easy recipe to fallow. When rolling out the doe and forming the rolls, be sure to use PLENTY of flour, as it is VERY sticky. They turned out great. This will be my dinner roll recipe until I find a better one.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
Wonderful recipe! Growing up I either had the stuffing that came in a box, or else home made stuffing that was almost bitter tasting! Either way, the great thing about this recipe is that you can actually tell what your eating. Its colorful and all the flavors mix so well. I cooked our Thanksgiving dinner for the first time and this will be passed through our family for sure and will be a holiday hit for generations to come! I couldnt find the gizzard bag in our turkey, so I left out the turkey liver and it was still wonderful. Maybe Christmas I will put in the liver, but its still great without! A must try recipe! I deep fried my turkey so I cooked this in a casserole dish with a lid at 350 for about 45 min.
