Graham Cracker Crust III

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
This was good and I used it with Key Lime Pie IX. I don't get the egg yolk part and will leave this out next time. And I would use more butter, like maybe 4 oz.

Key Lime Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2009
Wonderful! I used a little more lime juice and made sure it was in refrigerator well before serving so it had time to set. Zest made it pretty and taste better. Used 5 egg whites.

KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* White and Dark Chocolate Truffles

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Good! White chocolate is easier to work with than semi-sweet, but both are delicious. I used more Krispies than it called for, especially when using semi- sweet chocolate for white chocolate.

Shrimp and Catfish Gumbo

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Great! It's a real comfort food. We added sausage and substituted cod for catfish. We loaded it with the seafood and meat. Served over rice, there is plenty left over to freeze.

Spider Cupcakes

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
Very cute! I recommend refrigerating the cupcakes overnight to make it stick together better. Lots of compliments and fun for my daughter's classroom Halloween party.

Halloween Popcorn Pumpkins

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
Very cute! Lots of compliments and they tasted great. Popcorn goes stale next day, though. Did not bother to mash peanuts.

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
Excellent! We added ham and lots of buttered crumbs. I would try different cheeses, maybe even bleu.

Blue Cheese, Bacon and Chive Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
Really good! My husband loved it. I pounded the chops and added the granny smith apples with a few dried cranberries. Very rich. Add the cream cheese to make it stick together.

This was okay . . . it wasn't delicious or soooooo good. Probably would try another recipe for strawberry cake next time.

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
This was pretty good. It seemed healthier, too. Better after a couple of days and very filling. Add the juice of one lime and lots of cilantro of course.

COLLEGE INN® Savory Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
Y'all have got to make this! It is the best pot pie I have ever had. I did use 6 oz. of chicken instead of turkey and I used diced potatoes that I boiled in a little salt instead of the canned kind. My daughter doesn't like rosemary or any of the other "grown-up" spices, but she ate this without looking up. I am wondering how the mix will freeze and thaw with the pie crust added on demand at a later date.

Buttermilk Pralines

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
I used lowfat milk because I did not have any buttermilk. It still worked out great, although I'm sure it would have been creamier with the buttermilk. I also used almonds instead of pecans, and it was sooo good! Good recipe! Will use again.
