Butternut Squash and Turnip Soup
I've never cooked turnips before and needed a recipe to try, so glad I came across this one! I did not have a butternut squash so I substituted delicata squash instead, also was out of honey so used agave in the same amount. I used vegetable broth instead of chicken broth but all the spices I used as written. When the soup was just about done I removed 2 cups of the vegetables then pureed the rest of the soup in the pot with my immersion blender, then added the 2 cups of veggies back in and simmered another 15-20 minutes. This was AWESOME, wonderfully sweet flavor! This soup looks impressive but was so easy to make. Will be making this many times more!

Rustic Tuscan Soup with Kale
I halved this recipie since it is only my husband & I and it made the perfect amount for dinner and 2 lunches the next day. I did add 1 TBS of tomato paste to the dish to thicken it just a tad and to add a touch more tomato flavor to the broth. The flavors were even better the next day, serve with crusty bread is a must!

Apple Cranberry Relish
I made this relish for our family's Christmas Eve dinner, it was a huge hit! I only used 1 & 1/2 cups of sugar and it was plenty sweet enough. The grated orange peel is a must so don't leave it out!
