Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2012
Mix topping mixture with 1/4 c. butter before using. This works much better than drizzling butter on top. Make topping in mixing bowl first, set aside and continue making batter in same bowl without washing. This results in less to wash. Also be certain to grease your pan VERY well. This can be baked in a bundt pan too.

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
Be certain to use salted butter and don't omit the salt from the recipe. Salt stabilizes the butter and helps to keep it from separating out. Also once it is boiling stop stirring. Just keep taking the temperature ever so often. It's easier if you melt the butter first and then stir in the sugar.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
One comment. Take the onions and muchrooms out of the butter once they have cooked. Whisk in flour only and cook 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper and stir in milk and cream until slightly thickened. THEN add in the onions and mushrooms with the chicken.

Cream of Asparagus Soup II

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
For an elegant touch, substitute 1/2 cup white wine for part of the chicken broth. Very, very good and very subtle. Be certain to puree in food processor. Save a few tips for garnish.
