Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy
Be certain to use salted butter and don't omit the salt from the recipe. Salt stabilizes the butter and helps to keep it from separating out. Also once it is boiling stop stirring. Just keep taking the temperature ever so often. It's easier if you melt the butter first and then stir in the sugar.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo
One comment. Take the onions and muchrooms out of the butter once they have cooked. Whisk in flour only and cook 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper and stir in milk and cream until slightly thickened. THEN add in the onions and mushrooms with the chicken.

World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.
I changed the sugar to 1/3 c. brown sugar,added 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and increased the raisins to 1c. they was excellent.
