Sweet and Sour Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2012
Turned out great! Definitely a keeper! My only adjustment was adding a quartered onion and sauteing vegetables with fresh ginger root (later removed) and fresh minced garlic before adding them to the sauce. I used cornstarch, instead of flour and let the sauce reduce a little bit with the piece of ginger root that I later removed.

I've used this recipe three times so far and each time the results are excellent! I can't imagine ever needing or using another baked ham recipe!

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
Wonderful dessert! I used local blueberries and strawberries, and I crumbled some soft chocolate brownies in with the angel food cake. I also whipped heavy cream with confectioners sugar and vanilla instead of the frozen whipped topping. For family holiday dinners I'm going to layer it in individual parfait glasses

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
This is one of the all-time best cookies. After reading the other reviewers, I lowered cooking time to 9 minutes, left out cloves, added 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp ginger, dried cranberries and chopped walnuts. Every one of my testers loved it!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
This recipe deserves it's name. I used some tips from other reviewers including adding nutmeg to the Ricotta and fresh chopped basil. My family LOVES it. This is actually faster, easier, and better than my old family recipe
