Coconut Blueberry Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
Mmmmmm! Works for me just fine without the lemon sauce, but may try that next time. Not too sweet and was delicious both plain as a coffee cake as well as with vanilla ice cream for dessert. It raised well and was impressive per portion. Had lots of frozen wild blueberries and they worked perfectly. Very nice recipe! Thanks so much!

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
MMMMmmmmm is right...a perfect brownie recipe that I will definately use from now on. This recipe works plain or jazzed up with extra chocolate chunks, walnuts or flavorings. The 8X8 pan yielded 9 large beauties. Loved the good old homemade taste of these. Many thanks for sharing.

Better than Sex Cake IV

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2005
This recipe was absolutely wonderful. Make it ahead of time so that the flavors seep into the cake and the cake will be moist. Every bite was delicious...a great recipe for a crowd as it makes a huge cake!

Apple Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
Wow!Keep this one, everybody! It smells heavenly while baking. After the cake cooled, I turned it out so that the "crust" was on top, not the "fluted" side. I may try drizzling a sugar coating next time. Served it to some non-dessert people and they loved it. Especially nice in Autumn. Thanks, Carol AAAAA+++++

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
Fast, delicious, elegant and easy. I also doubled all the sauce ingredients including more mushrooms. I also added a few slices of fresh lemon in with the wine and allowed the flavors to blend. Fresh parsley garnish added a splash of last minute color. Great with linguine. Thanks, Lisa for a perfect recipe!AAAAA+++++

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
We are all chocoholics in this household and this is WONDERFUL, intense and not overly sweet. I have made this three times since Christmas and everyone has totally flipped over it. Does not taste at all like a box cake was used. Definately serve with homemade thick whipped cream. Thanks, Caitlin AAAAA+++++

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
This is the end of my "quest" for the perfect rice pudding. I adored it warm, my husband preferred it cold, my mom almost ate all of it!! A great recipe for leftover rice from last night's Chinese food. Regular raisins worked fine. Erica, thank you for submitting this awesome recipe...keep them coming, please.

Neapolitan Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
This one is definately a keeper! I found the baking time was perfect! I also added chopped milk chocolate to the chocolate mixture. Next time, I might try semi-sweet. The glaze was also a bit too sweet and light. Nice presentation with strawberries sliced and mixed in their juices and fresh thickly whipped cream.
