Easy Butter Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2012
These cookies turned out great! Very buttery and yummy. I put raspberry jam in the middle before baking. I used all real butter and didn't have a problem with crumbling.

Apple Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: May 29, 2011
I made 60 servings of a variation of this bread for my church today and they loved it. I modified the recipe as follows. I blended Wheat flour and unbleached AP flour (50/50), skipped the salt and cloves, spread the dough thin onto quarter sheet pans, and cooked at 375. The higher temp gave a slightly crisp top while the inside was moist. I even had a professional baker ask for the recipe. (:

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
These are awesome! Perfect for decorating or eating plain. I used the exact ingredients and did not change any quantities. Here are a few tips that helped them turn out great! -make sure you use "cook and serve" pudding NOT instant -the butter and eggs are best used at room temperature for this recipe -don't add too much flour, when measuring make sure your cup of flour is level, not heaping and not packed down -if you are in a very dry room, put a pot of boiling water on the stove while you are making the dough -roll the dough thin -make sure your cut outs are cold when going into the oven, I put them on the baking sheet in the freezer for 10 min. prior to baking

Blue Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
Excellent cheese ball. I served this as an appetizer at a party and everyone loved it. I was short on time so I could not leave mine in the fridge overnight so I put it in the freezer for an hour and then rolled it in the walnuts. It worked just fine this way.
