Sweet Chex Mix
Me and the Boys
About this Cook
I have been married to my wonderful husband Brad for 10 years. I love everything outdoors and everything about my family. I have three great little boys 5/3/1 and want to be there for them.
My favorite things to cook
The westerners version of southern cooking....BBQ, Meatloaf, Roast Beef, baked chicken, Stews, country cooking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Grandmas sweet rolls, moms clam chowder....Wondering how they just knew what to put in the pot (a handful of this/a spoonful of that, and everything turning out perfect)...I always needed a recipe but they have cooking running through their vains.
My cooking triumphs
Just cooking good complete meals on a regular basis. I have really tried to not feed the family processed foods with ingredients that I can't pronounce.
My cooking tragedies
No one recipe or meal stands out but my main problem in the past is not fully reading the recipe before I started and not having all the ingredients or not paying attention to the amounts and putting in the wrong amounts.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf
Great taste! But make sure you throughly mix the salt with the eggs and milk before adding the meat I had some really salty and then really bland parts (my fault) I also put some of the brown sugar and catsup mix on the top....thanks.

Bacon Mushroom Chicken
YUMMY! My two year old started to eat his chicken and noodles before I could get everyone else's plates down. I used boneless/skinless chicken breast just because that's what I had; and it cuts down on the calories and fat...but it also cuts down on the sauce:( I made the sauce right in the 9X13 pan and used evaporated milk (that's just what I had) because there wasn't much drippings, and then pour it over some egg noodles. Very good!
