About this Cook
I'm a peaceful red-head most of the time, I love to cook and bake, and I really love winter.
My favorite things to cook
ITALIAN!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandma had a recipe for "Potato Bake" which my daddy turned into "Cheese Potatoes". I'm the only one my dad thinks makes them right.
My cooking triumphs

My cooking tragedies

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
My family enjoys recipes that are simple. Recipes that have few ingerdients. I tried this recipe out and it was a big hit! I made three changes, however. I switched the tomato soup, dropped the egg, and added some garlic powder to taste. I'm happy to say that this recipe has made it into my monthly dinner rotation. :)

Slow Cooker Chicken Creole
I added a drained can of black beans to this recipe, and took out the jalapeno. Some of my family prefers bland food, and they even liked it. All in all it was a hit!

Fast and Friendly Meatballs
I have never in my life been able to make meatballs. This recipe made it super easy. I trippled the recipe (which I won't ever do again! Too much time) and simmered them in spaghetti sauce. They turned out FABULOUS!
