My kids loved this french toast. I added cinnamon to the egg mixture. I will definatley make this again, just not that often because it is so high in calories ;) Great weekend treat!

Yummy little bites and super easy. A great recipe for the kids to do with you. I toasted the nuts first, to bring out more flavor.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
This cake is moist and delicious and the mascarpone filling is outstanding. I added a little more coffee and coffee liquor than the recipe calls for. I also frosted the cake the night before and left it in the fridge. It was perfect the following day.

Old Bay® Shrimp Fest

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
Great recipe! Easy and delicious. I added 3/4 cup old bay, 3qt water and 2 beers as others suggested...very flavorful! I also took the shells off of the shrimp so that we could devein them. Sorry, I wont eat shrimp that is not deveined. yuck! We made it outside in a turkey fryer. But seriously, this serves way more than 8 people!!! Serves more like 14 and we have big eaters! I would make this again and again.

Bacon Quiche Tarts

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
Love, love, love these easy little gems! I used a 8 count Grands Buttermilk Biscuits rolls. Seperated them in half and used equal parts of sharp cheddar and gruyere cheeses. They were a big hit. I finally had to tell the hubby to lay off of them because we were having company :)

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
So, you love mac and cheese, right? I assume that's why you are trying this recipe...look no further, this is your go to mac and cheese!!! Scrumptious, cheesy, heaven on a plate. I think the people who said theirs was dry might be using a whole box of pasta. DO NOT use a 1lb (16 oz.) box of pasta! This recipe calls for 8oz of pasta!!! I'm glad I looked through the pictures first because I did not like the way the cottage cheese made it look, so I blended 1/2 cup milk with cottage cheese to *smooth* out the sauce before adding it to the noodles I also used equal parts cheddar and gruyere, added a little ground mustard and ground nutmeg. I used about 1/2 cup of panko mixed with melted butter (sorry, did not measure) on top!!! Soooooooo gooooooood! You will not be dissapointed!!!

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2010
These turned out fantastic. I did follow some of the suggestions and chilled the dough in the freezer for 15 minutes and used a chapstick to make the indentation for the jam. Otherwise, I followed the directions exactly. Fill the jam all the way to the top of the indentation, if you chill before baking, the jam will not spill over the cookie. I did not double the glaze and found that it was plenty for a light drizzle on these cookies. Delicious and can't wait to make them again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
This is an easy weeknight dinner. My 6 year old daughter could not get enough of this. I used a tri-tip, the beef turned out soooo tender, it was falling apart.

Really good lasagna. Was it the World's Best? In my opinion...no, but it was darn good :) This sauce is great over pasta alone! I would definitely make this again.

Very good mai tai. We like ours a little less sweet and a bit stronger so I cut the juice in half. Great party drink!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
I would love to give it 4 1/2 stars. It tasted fantastic!!! My only complaint was that it started to melt and get gooey too quickly, hey I live in CA ;) Keep it in the fridge until just before serving. YUM, YUM, YUM!!!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
Very yummy chocolate cake. I used Starbucks coffee liquor. SAD, my cake fell apart coming out of the bundt pan. GREASE and FLOUR your pan WELL!!! I turned most of it into a chocolate trifle because it had fell apart. I put the pieces of cake into a bowl added vanilla ice cream and topped with hot fudge! Mmmmmm delicious!!! Some of the cake was still intact so we kept it and it was still delicious on day 3. I finally had to toss the rest to save me from picking a it :) Can't wait to make it again. THANKS for the great recipe.

Our family did not like this very much. I roasted the butternut squash first, as other had suggested. Was it was rich? Yes!!! Was it bland? Yes. I make a lot of homemade soups because my family loves soup, but I will not be making this one again, sorry.

Good as written but great with a lot more garlic, about 5 cloves in all and 1/2 cup more parmesan cheese. Make sure you use fresh parmigiano reggiano cheese. This makes a huge difference!

Chinese Cabbage Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2009
Wonderful recipe! I added a little fresh ginger to the dressing which was fantastic. I definitely recommend toasting the ramen in a tiny bit of butter first. It takes away the just out of the package flavor that the ramen noodles have.
