Curried Leek Soup

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
Very good. This soup tasted great and is versatile. I've made it adding potatoes, mushrooms and other ingredients. It works best, tho with evaporated milk or half and half. Thanks for posting!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
Excellent! The only changes I made: used diced tomatoes with green chili and threw skinless, boneless uncooked chicken breast in at the beginning of cooking time: also added a can of black beans, rinsed. My BF RAVED about it for days! Thanks for an excellent, easy, tasty recipe!

Shrimp Avocado Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
Yummy! Next time will add a few stalks of fresh chopped celery. I didn't have any tomatoes. Will try that next time as well. I did add a bit of finely chopped red onion. Excellent!

Squirrel's Great Beef Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
Excellent, Squirrel! I've been using this marinade for years. If you add a shot of whiskey, it will helps tenderize the toughest steak, while adding a bit of flavor (the alcohol cooks off). I've also used this with Heinz 57 in place of the BBQ sauce. Delish!

Oven Fried Chicken III

Fantastic! I never make fried chicken because I don't like the mess. This is better than traditional fried chicken and very little clean up! Thanks for a great recipe!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
WOW! This is great. I had to use cream of celery soup, and it was one of the best roasts I've ever eaten. I used a sirloin roast and seared it with a flour mixture of garlic, onion powder, salt, cayenne (just a touch)and Emerill's Essence. Wonderful!
