This is the best pound cake recipe I have found! It's dense, moist and flavorful. I've made it several times with different flavorings and/or icings. Excellent!!!!

These are wonderful! I've been looking for a brownie recipe like my mom use to make.....chocolaty, chewy, with a tender crusty outside. I didn't have any oil, so I substituted butter. YUMMO!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
I love this recipe and so does my man. After making it quite a few times, I discovered that AP flour works just fine. I also use Rapid Rise yeast and bumped it to 2 tsp. I live at a very high elevation, so the extra yeast works better. YUMO!

I made this using leftover venison roast. It was delicious! Just enough sweetness and just enough pepper taste. We loved it over rice. Thanks for posting.

Cheesy Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
After looking for something different to do with acorn squash, I decided to try this recipe and I'm so glad I did. The recipe is easy, uses ingredients readily on hand and is delicious! I didn't have fresh mushrooms, so substituted canned and used sharp cheddar cheese. The fresh mushroom would have probably added good texture and a bit better flavor, but did not (in our opinion) detract from the dish at all! Thanks for posting!

Mincemeat Cookies

Very good cookies. I used my own mincemeat and omitted the cinnamon called for in the recipe. My mincemeat already had plenty. Cookies are moist and delicious!

Laura's Venison Breakfast Sausage

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
Hi all. This is my recipe. You MUST add approx. 2 oz pork fat before grinding. Venison is very lean. The sausage may still be a bit lean, so the amount of pork fat added can be varied. Have fun and I hope you enjoy!
