This is the BEST crust! I have never been able to make a crust that is flaky, buttery and not doughy. My husband is still raving about this. I used this crust to make chicken pot pies in mini loaf pans. YUM! The only change I made, based on other reviews, was to use 1/2 cup butter and 3/4 cup shortening. I wanted a bit of a buttery crust and that was easily achieved. Love, love, love it!! Thank you for sharing! EXCELLENT!

Chewy Caramel

I have made this caramel recipe twice now. The first time, I followed the recipe almost exactly (had to adjust boiling time for altitude). It was perfect!! The second time, I substituted 1 cup honey instead of the light corn syrup. Again, Perfect!!!! The honey gives it a heartier or more wholesome flavor. YUM!!

Awesome Ham Pasta Salad

I'm giving this 5 stars een tho I had to adjust the recipe somewhat. I didn't have beef bouillon granules on hand or red bell pepper. I used apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar (personal preferance). I also added about 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (to compensate for the lack of other ingredients). We loved it! Thanks for sharing!

Sarah's Rice Pilaf

I used instant rice, but think that it would have been been with regular long grain. I also added about 2 tbsp grated carrots for color. Very good!!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Playgroup Granola Bars

We really enjoyed these. As others suggested, they are quite chewy out of the oven, but tend to dry overnight. I love the base recipe tho! I've added choc. chips, marshmallows, dried fruit, etc. Thanks for sharing!
