About this Cook
I've been cooking since I was a small child. I almost made cooking my profession but then I realized that I enjoyed it too much and didn't want to turn it into work. Both of my parents cook but my father was the primary cook in the house and most of what I know is from him. I took what he taught me and improved upon it. Now he's learning from me!
My favorite things to cook
It depends on my mood. Pasta is easy to make when feeling lazy so I find myself cooking that most of the time. Grilling and stir-frying are also my favorite methods of cooking. I love to bake when I'm in the mood to wait a while for my food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad is Asian. He cooks EVERYTHING in a wok.
My cooking triumphs
The first dish I created that knocked my dad's socks off. My dad is my original Iron Chef!
My cooking tragedies
The first time I learned how to fold eggs into a hot sauce. I don't remember what I was trying to make. I've blocked that from my memory.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
I usually go with the original Toll House recipe when making chocolate chip cookies, but I decided to try something different. This recipe is actually very similar to the Toll House recipe with slight differences in the amount of sugar, vanilla, and flour. I really liked this recipe. It makes a well-balanced and tasty cookie with crisp edges and a soft middle. I left the cookies out on a plate for a few days and the cookies were not as soft but still delicious and edible. This recipe is a winner.
