Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
I give it 4 stars only for the fact that there is no hint on how to keep all the cheese from melting out of the roll. as for taste and ease to make It would get a 5. I added the suggestion of using the sauce from "Aussie Chicken"before the ham and cheese. I also topped each piece with a dab of butter before going into the oven. I forgot to make the sauce (DUH) but the sauce inside from the Aussie Chicken made up for it. i look forward to making this again with the sauce.

Pasta Primavera with Smoked Gouda

Really very good and easy to make. Nothing super special, but a great staple, east to do, change of pace from the same ol' spaghetti dinner. Will add to my list of regular meals.

BBQ Feta and Hot Banana Pepper Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
Boy do I need to read the ingredients closer. I saw banana and thought sounds interesting. When it was time to make I had the bananas ready when I noticed it said banana PEPPERS. Oh well I threw the banana in anyway (no peppers) found some chili pepper and cayenne adding just a pinch of both. SURPRISE! it turned out tasty. I will have to follow the recipe closer when I try it again.

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2011
Oh my goodness these were amazing. My family loved it. I used the brown sugar spice rub recommended by the other reviewer. These rate as good as your favorite rib place. Served them with sweet potato wedge fries (a recipe from Bobby Flay). Excellent. can't rave enough.

Grandma's Doughnuts

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2011
These are a fun tasty treat, but I have to give it 3 stars because it's not a real recipe. I have found the same directions in a family magazine along with craft ideas. these are not really doughnuts just deep fried biscuits. Albeit tasty.

Manjar (Dulce de Leche) from Scratch

Reviewed: May 23, 2011
Turned out good. Tasted great. I did not have whole milk, so I used 3 cups fat free milk and 1 cup heavy cream. Other then that did exactly as the recipe said and it came out great at the time stated in the recipe. Sorry it didn't work out for the others. Try it again. Don't forget the baking soda, that what gives it the pudding consistency.

Waikiki Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2011
Delicious. browned in pan then moved to slow cooker. Flavor was great and meatballs were "melt in your mouth", however sauce did not thicken in slow cooker so had to put it in sauce pan to thicken. Next time I will make sauce in pan 'till thick then move it to slow cooker with meatballs.

Middle Eastern Turkey Dogs

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
Wonderful!. I followed recipe exactly except for rolling out the meat. Instead I formed the meat around wooden skewers and cooked as per instructions. I served it with a peanut curry sauce and pita bread. The smell of the meat cooking wa great. Spiced/seasoned to perfection.

Yorkshire Pudding

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
I can't give it five stars because I have never eaten Yorkshire pudding before, so I don't have anything to copare it to. That being said, when my son and daughter went to England this became their favorite food, and THEY said it was great.

Banana Anna

Very tasty. I threw in a little granola for some texture. The description said smoothie so I was expecting it to be thicker. I would have given more stars if it was thicker like a smoothie, but the taste is an AAA+++

this is one of My family's favorites. This recipe is fantastic. i accidentally have left out ingredients, like the lemon juice, or had to change ingredients (dijon mustard instead of regular, Wine vinegar instead of cider) it doesn't matter it still taste great.

Loved it! I threw in everything I had in the fringe and the cupboard. I seasoned as directed and added a little cilantro and about a tsp. fresh ginger ('cause I had them) it was hearty and delicious.
