Ingredients
  • 2 bags pre-cut coleslaw (or make your own from fresh veggies)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 5 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2/3 cup sugar(granulated)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • pinch of salt
  • pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Mix all above ingredients except the actual slaw into a bowl and whisk until well mixed. Add the bags of slaw and turn until well coated. Cover and let sit in refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Footnotes

  • This tastes almost exactly like KFC coleslaw and many people I have made it for love it. I use the pre-packaged coleslaw for ease, but you could easily cut your own if you wanted. You can eat this as soon as it is made if you want, but I let it sit for an hour or so and the flavors are much better. Also, this makes a large portion because I typically make it for holiday gatherings or family BBQs. If you want less just half all of the ingredients and the taste will be the same.

sounds like the one I make all except the buttermilk, but I also like Hidden Valley's Coleslaw dressing.
