Glazed Dijon Carrots

I am not a big fan of carrots, but I love these. They are always a nice change. I will try them on the grandkids for supper tonight.

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

If you want a light and fluffy yellow cake this is it. It is wonderful. I made this for the first time Friday and made a small extra cake so I could try it. It is out of this world. I did not use the fruit as I wanted to make a coconut cake. This is the one I will used from now on.

Peanut Chocolate Cake

I made this cake for some co-workers and they just loved it. You can't go wrong with this cake and the frosting is to die for. I added a chocolate glaze over the peanut butter frosting what more could you ask for. Thanks for the great recipe Iola.

Hash Brown and Egg Casserole

I wast looking for a great egg dish as we had company coming in. This was the perfect dish. I did double everything except the potatoes. I put them in the bottom of a 9x13 glass baking dish and baked for about 20 minutes. Everyone loved it. Thanks for a great recipe.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

I have been baking these for several years. I first baked them for a tea we were giving, then I made them for a woman who was willing to pay for them. I also made over a hundred of them for our church tea. They are already asking me to make them this coming year. Last Christmas I made them for gifts for my daughter's children teacher's gifts. This are the pertect scone and I have made others they don't come close to these. Thanks for a geat recipe.

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

This was easy and so good. Everyone loved it. I do not usually make anything from box mixes, but I decided to try this. It has a great flavor. Wonderful if you are in a hurry. I will also try it from making my own cake, but in a hurry this is hands down the best.

Peanut Butter Brownies II

I made these the other day and took them over to what I call my test team, (a florist shop where my Mom used to work) I am always trying new recipes on them. They just loved these and said to put this at the top of the Brownie list for being number one. The others who tried these at home thought the same thing. I think that says it all. I am baking another batch today to take to a nursing home tomorrow after church. They were even better the next day. Thanks for the wonderful recipe Tara.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

This was so easy and it taste wonderful. I ended up making mash potatoes and taking some of the juices to make gravy. I have enough left over to make the sandwiches I want. Since there are only three of us I might even get another meal out of it. Thanks for the great recipe.

Special Buttercream Frosting

This frosting was was wonderful. It was not too sweet. It just seem to have the right taste. I used it on some cupcakes for Easter. Gave some away yesterday. They loved it.
