Dill, Feta and Garlic Cream Cheese Spread

this is so good!!! i have made it many times and would recommend making it at least 1 day in advance. it gets much stronger the longer it is in the fridge. 2-3 days is even better... i have even used leftovers to stuff into chicken breasts!

Apple Harvest Pound Cake with Caramel Glaze

i hate when people change everything and then review the recipe poorly BUT i have made this many times (exact instructions first then made changes). this cake rocks. the glaze is delish. i find light brown sugar tastes way better in it than dark. i also baked it at 325 for 70 min. i used half white and half brown sugar and sub'd apple sauce in for 1/3 the amount of oil. (1/2 cup ap. sauce, 1 cup oil) i also increased cinnamon to 1 teaspoon. that's my fave way. made it for my aunt's bday. she hates sweets and had a second piece!

Super Duper Bean Salad

i usually don't like bean salad but i followed this recipe exactly and it was great. i did let the marinade cool a bit before pouring it over so the beans wouldn't get mushy. i sliced my vidalia onion into rings so us non onion eaters could easily pick them out but they definately add to the marinade flavor. i love the peppers in this! it adds a nice crunch. i used 1/2 teaspoon salt.

i also used a packet of gravy mix with water and 2 tablespoons of ketchup like others have recommended. i used a package of frozen mixed veggies also.

Marinade for Steak I

i added a tablespoon or so of brown sugar to help it carmelize. everyone loves this!!! i poured it into a ziploc bag over skirt steak and sliced vidalia onion and marinated overnight. i have also taken the whole bag with onion, steak and marinade, sealed without any air and frozen. as it defrosts it marinades. throw the onions in a foil pouch on the grill and after 30-40 minutes add the steak and you have a quick meal!

the only thing i would say is that flank steak is not the same cut of meat as london broil so if you actually buy london broil this recipe rocks.

Pecan Pie V

wow. i can't say enough about this recipe. i don't even like pecan pie usually and this was amazing. i melted the butter, added the flour and sugar until they cooked together dissolving the sugar then added the rest. poured it into a read made crust and boom it's done. so simple and i made it 2 days ahead! highly recommended.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

i don't think i will make this recipe again despite the fact that it saved room in my oven. i have mixed feelings about it though because people said it was delish. it stuck to the outside and burned (even though i sprayed it) then i scooped out the unburned part and put it back in the slow cooker. this time it became soggy. i cooked it the last hour and a half just to get the juices soaked up.

this was pretty good! it was a little too sweet and tangy for me (i like it a bit more spicy) but my husband loved it. i did omit the celery seed because i didn't have any on hand.
