Hash Brown Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
Great! I used cream of mushroom soup (it's what I had in the pantry) and added a jalapeno for a little heat. Excellent. Everyone loved it!

Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
Used half as much garlic but otherwise stayed true to the recipe. Wonderful. Very fresh tasting. So easy to make and heads above anything you buy in the store. This one has been added to my favorites.

Kale and Quinoa Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
This is so funny. I just made Quinoa for the first time and I made it almost identical to this one. I didn't think about the currants but I have some in my freezer so I will throw them in. I used pine nuts instead of pecans. Goat cheeses instead of feta. I love it!

Pesto

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
I used this recipe because I wanted to utilize my parsley out of the garden and the other recipes only had basil. I substituted walnuts for the pine nuts. Turned out wonderful. I'd definetely recommend this recipe!

Ham Bone Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2013
This was delicious! First time making this but not the last. I had a Country Ham bone so I opted for low sodium chicken broth and no salt canned tomatoes. Still salty but all Country Ham is. Loved it!!!

Easy Apple Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2008
I had to adjust this recipe because I did not have all the ingredients in the house. Basically I used the cabbage, apples, onions, miracle whip and brown sugar (reduced amount due to sweetness of miracle whip). It was fantastic! This is the only coleslaw recipe I will use in the future. Can't wait to see how it turns out when I use all the ingredients. Thank you for the recipe!

Cauliflower with Dijon Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2014
This is the only way I make cauliflower. I normally bake mine but microwaving would be a quick option. Add a little cayenne pepper and garlic to your liking.

Tomato Pudding

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2012
I've made this for years. I like to toast the bread and spread butter on before breaking it up and add the tomatoes. Good either way though!

Cream of Tomato Soup with Pesto

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2008
Wonderful! Only warning, I substituted whole milk for the cream(Cream is much better, just didn't have any in the house). If you also happen to substitute, do not add milk until soup has cooled. Otherwise you'll have curdled milk.

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
Sorry guys, I love sausage balls but I was not crazy about this recipe. The mix was too dry, had to add water. The final product tasted like biscuits. The only suggestion I would make is to add less baking mix. I won't try this particular recipe again.
