Golden Egg Bread

This has to be the very best bread I have ever made. It is smooth and very toothsome. I did beat the eggs up into the water before putting into container, used 2# loaf and medium crust. Wonderful bread. I will make this again.

Mahogany Cake

I really liked this cake. Easy to mix up and very tasty; I do like my cakes a lot more chocolate so I may have to use more cocoa next time.

Emma's Belgian Waffles

Wonderful waffels. I did not separate the eggs, just beat until smooth, I also used Splenda instead of sugar. Otherwise followed recipe; I think next time I will follow review which suggested to use 1/4 cup cornstarch for crispness. My daughter-in-law suggested adding some cinnamon sugar next time which I will try. Will let everyone know how that turns out.

Oh my goodness, this is the best. I made only two changes which was to add the whole bunch of cilantro as I like it. I also omitted the jalapenio as I do not care for them. We ate the whole recipe in one day. Will definintely make again.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Very yummy. I am eating the soup as I write this. I did make a few changes however; I did not have any dill weed so used dill seed instead, had no parsley but did have cilantro so used that. One of the reviews suggested usinf half and half which I did. All in all a wonderful recipe. Thanks so much for it.

Triple Dipped Fried Chicken

This is the best chicken ever! I have searched and searched for a recipe like this and never found it until now. I used Mississippi Mud Black and Tan Beer as that was what I had on hand. I will use this recipe for all my fried chicken. I may even use the suggestion and make Chicken Fried Steak this way. Will let you know how that turns out.

Fluffy Pancakes

These pancakes are so super easy and really live up to their name-fluffy. The have a wonderful taste and the texture is perfect. I have made these several times and this is my go-to recipe now.

No Roll Pie Crust I

This is the best pie crust ever. I love how easy is is to make and use. I even use it for top crusts; just place on waxed paper and pat out to the needed size and place on top of pie. I gave this recipe to my sister who could never make pie crust and she has now started baking pies both single crust and double crust. I don't use peanut oil however, I use canola oil and have even used olive oil for savory pies like chicken pot pies, YUM. I plan to make this my only pie crust and will continue to encourage others to try it.

Skillet Rolls

I just love these rolls. I did "cheat" when making the dough. I put all the dough ingredients in my bread machine and used the dough cycle, then formed into 16 rolls. Used a cast iron skillet and let rise as directed and baked 20 minutes. These were easy to make and very tasty. I will definitly make again. Thanks so much for this recipe.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Very Good Bread!! I Changed it from 3 loaves to 1 as I am alone and do not need 3 loaves of bread. I did "Cheat" a little however. I placed the ingredients in my bread machine on the DOUGH setting and then when finished put it in my loaf pan and baked it for 30 minutes. I let it cool for about 10-15 minutes and could not wait longer. It is about half gone and was just made yesterday, so I may need to make 2 loaves instead. LOL. I toasted some this morning for breakfast and it was great plain and with honey on it. I will be making this again in a few days and whenever I need bread. Thanks ever so much, Nita for posting this recipe.

Homemade Biscuit Mix

I have had this recipe for some time but never got around to trying it. I must say this is the very best biscuit recipe I have EVER found. The bread has a nice and moist crumb, great flavor and every one who has tried them say they are the best I've ever made. Thanks so much for the posting, I plan to keep this mix made up and in my pantry for the future use of this marvelous bread.

Buttermilk Syrup

I have had this saved for some time but never made it before now. I followed the recipe exactly and I must say this is wonderful. It reminds me of pralines and will be excellent on my pancakes tomorrow. I had read that it was better if it sat for overnight so I made it today. I did not taste any bitterness nor is there an aftertaste. Thanks so much for this recipe.

Cinnamon Rolls III

These were the perfect cinnamon rolls that I have been looking for. I used all of the pudding as suggested by another reviewer and they were WONDERFUL. I did leave out the nuts as my grandchildren do not care for nuts but I think next time I may use raisins instead. Loved the frosting, but it made just a tad too much so plan to use less on rolls next time, and there WILL be a next time. Thanks for this wonderful post.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

I used suggested reviews to "doctor" it up. Added cream of chicken soup in place of a can of broth, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder and cumin. We used sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese on soup and it was GOOD. I will be making this soup again.

Chewy Caramel

These are amazing!! In have made 3 batches of them just in the last week and they do not last long, my grandchildren could eat them in a matter of hours if I let them. I will certainly make more and not just for Christmas. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Chunky Marinara Sauce

I found this recipe several months ago but have not rated yet. It is very good. My grandchildren ate it up, even the one who doesn't like sauce on her spaghetti. I did add ground beef and mushrooms as we prefer it that way. I will no longer purchase canned sauce again.

Taco Seasoning I

I don't know why I've not rated this yet because I ave used this recipe for several years now. It is the best. The only thing I do different is I use about 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of cayenne instead of red pepper flakes. I never buy taco seasoning anymore.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

YUM YUM YUM!! These were SO good; they lasted only one night. I loved that I could bake them crunchy for me and softer for the grandchildren. I will be making them again soon.
