Rachael's Superheated Cajun Boiled Peanuts

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2014
Finally! My boyfriend is from South Carolina and we have tried many MANY recipes trying to reproduce what he's had back home. This one is the closest and best tasting recipe yet! Thank you.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2011
I loved this dessert!! I used french vanilla pudding and french vanilla whipped topping. I also made the super easy chocolate topping that BaysChick recommended! You must try this and make the chocolate yourself! Everyone at my party loved it and wanted the recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
Well, I was very disappointed. I should have listened to the reviews. The whole packet of seasoning was way too salty. Even though it was too salty it was very bland. Anyway, I don't recommend this dish and I wouldn't even try it again with half the packet.

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
This was soooo good! I did not use nuts or raisins. Everyone agreed that it needs a little more of the butter/brown sugar caramel sauce. Next time I will use 3/4 cup butter and 3/4 cup of brown sugar. I used only 2 1/4 biscuits tubes cause I was afraid of it bubbling over. Just enough.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
I loved this recipe! Thankfully, I read the reviews and followed the suggestions. I used 10 eggs instead of 6. I baked it for 50 minutes. I used crisped bacon but found it wasn't crispy once in casserole. I will use sausage next time. Otherwise everyone loved it and wanted the recipe!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
This was a very good quick recipe. I followed the reviews and used one can of healthy request cream of chicken and one can of healthy request cream of celery. I also added a can of peas and carrots. I added the one can of reduced fat biscuits at about one hour and forty five minutes before it was done. The buscuits were not raw and cooked perfectly. Next time I make this I will definitely add more seasonings (it was a little bland), but otherwise this was a very good comforting recipe!

Toffee Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
AWESOME! My sister and I made these bars using this recipe and we loved them. They are very easy to make and they make a lot of bars. These bars are very rich so I cut them into small triangles. I had many people asking me for the recipe.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
We tried this recipe this year and we really liked them. They turned out very flat, so I'm not sure what happened. Even though they were very flat they also were very chewy. We didn't have the ground cloves so we substitued pumpkin pie spice instead. We found that the cookies needed more spice after baking them. Next time we will just up the cinnamon and the pumpkin pie spice a little bit. Overall, we really liked these!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
This was the first year we tried a different sugar cookie recipe than the one we always make. These cookies turned out really good! They are easy to roll out and cut. Very good.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
This recipe was soooo good! I have been making lasagna homemade for years with a ricotta cheese mixture and I was so surprised to see how the sour cream/provolone combo turned out. I thought it was much more creamier and not as dry as if you would use ricotta cheese mixture. From now on when I make lasagna, I think I will steal that trick. It's a good one!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
I LOVED these muffins. I made the muffins exactly as the recipe read and they turned out great. The only problem was that I put them in a sealed cake container while they were still warm and the topping melted and turned "wet". Make sure that you let the muffins completely cool before storing them. Otherwise they were excellent and did not need any vanilla as some people suggested.

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
I made this recipe and my boyfriend and I loved it! The only difference was that we diced and sliced the green peppers to add in some different texture. It had really good flavor and we served it over white rice. Delicious!!! I was very surprised because sometimes crock pot recipes can all taste the same and this one was a definite keeper.

Egg and Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: May 11, 2008
I made this casserole for our Mother's Day brunch. My family really enjoyed this recipe. I followed the suggestions and added 2 more eggs and 3/4 cup of milk. I only put 1 cup each of the cheeses. I also baked the crescent rolls for about 7 minutes before adding the egg mixture. Very good!

Deep Dish Brownies

I LOVED this recipe. I didn't put in the baking powder and I put in 2 eggs instead of 3. I added one cup of chocolate chips. This recipe was a big hit!
