Gorgonzola Pear Pasta

This is heaven on a plate! I sauteed my pear a bit before I added it because it wasn't very ripe and a bit hard, but beggars can't be choosers when it comes to produce in Alaska. I also used gnocchi instead of penne. This recipe is deceptively simple, but is so delicious. I've rarely met a dish that was so rich I couldn't finish it, but this one almost was. Thank you for the recipe nellegirl, this is my new guilty pleasure.

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

This is the best shrimp I have ever had! I don't really measure, I just estimate and I was out of oregano so I threw a little basil in there instead. I took the advice of another reviewer and only marinated for maybe half an hour because of the lemon juice in the marinade. I didn't have enough skewers to fit all of the shrimp so I grilled some and did the rest in a saute pan with the marinade. The sauce that was left is soooo good! We dipped our bread in it and next time I'm going to make some pasta to serve with the sauce. This is going to be my go to recipe for shrimp from now on. Thanks so much for the recipe Robbie!

Coconut Curry Pumpkin Soup

Fantastic! I along with many others added a dash of ginger and cinnamon just because I like it that way, but the recipe is great as is. I didn't blend it. Maybe once I get an immersion blender I'll do it but I don't think it's worth the hassle with a regular blender and I like the chunks.

Sausage and Apple Stuffing

I've helped my mom make sausage dressing since I was a little girl. This isn't the same recipe but it is as close as I can find. This is a great recipe, but don't make the same mistake that I did last year. I used Granny Smith apples and the tart flavor was not great. Definitely use sweet apples.
