Rainbow Pasta Salad II

Reviewed: May 26, 2012
This is a great start. I use cherry or grape tomatoes, red onion, black olives, pepperoni, small chuncks of cheddar cheese, 1/3 c. shredded parmesan, Zesti Italian with a dash of vinegar and pinch of mint. This will not break down as cut tomatoes and cucumbers will...lasts a week in fridge. Always there for a hungry soul.

The Humble Shepherd

Your picture shows green beans instead of peas, which I would actually prefer. Some shredded carrots would add color and flavor. Good recipe!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
This is one of the best Lasagnas I've ever had! AND, I used tortillas one time and it worked great but the leftovers weren't as good, so only do this if you're going to eat it in one seating.

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
I agree that the temps should be on low for 8 hours, adding garlic and pepper but also like to add parsnips and turnips with the other vegies. Once I added caraway seeds to give it a different flavor..some of the family liked it, some not.

Apple and Orange Chicken

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
I loved this as a base, just added medium chunks of apples and oranges to the mix, did as others did and used a crock pot for 7-8 hours. 1 1/2 Tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with a little of the applejuice and added helps thicken it. The fresh ginger as suggested by others is a definite PLUS. I serve with Sweet Potatoes cut into cubes, sprayed with Trader Joe's Olive Oil Spray, cooked in microwave. I suppose you could add them to crock pot too, if you wish, but I like the flavors separate.
