About this Cook
Well about a year ago I moved out of my parents house and into my very own condo. In the beginning it was grilled cheese sandwiches and Spaghetti-0's almost every day, but thanks to my wonderful boyfriend I have been using this website and growing my recipe box almost everyday.
My favorite things to cook
I love pasta dishes and anything Italian. I'm also really getting into baking... I'm not much for eating baked good but the people at work definitely appreciate all of my experiments.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving... need I say more. Every year is a competition on who will top who with the best new recipe.... This year it was me and my Pecan Pumpkin Trifle from Williams-Sonoma.
My cooking triumphs
One of the first things I made from this site was homemade calzones with the dough from scratch. They were fantastic and always the first thing my boyfriend replies with when I ask him what I should make next.
My cooking tragedies
Too many to list... but the biggest tragedy was my cooking habits before this site.

Frozen Strawberry Yogurt
I loved this recipe! The only change I made was including small cut-up strawberry pieces rather than puree.. and it turned out awesome. For any of you looking for recipe similar to Pinkberry or Yogaberry, this is it!

Ali's Greek Tortellini Salad

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II
This recipe was awesome! I used the sour cream instead of mayonnaise and actually used one of those pre-shredded packages of Italian Cheese instead of buying all three types and it still turned out fantastic. We dipped the Simply Nakes Stacy's Chips in it and it was perfect. My boyfriend even put some on his steak! I definitley recommend this recipe to anyone.... and leave the artichokes...they add a nice salty takes to creamy cheeses!.
