Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2014
This is a great recipe. My only change was to substitute spicy Italian sausage and I added some ginger and Rosemary. Other than that it was fantastic and tasted even better as a left over. Thanks for sharing!

Classic Bisquick™ Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2014
It's a good, basic recipe that reminds me of making peach cobbler when I was a kid.

Diane's German Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2014
This is my go-to cake recipe. I use this for any flavor of cupcakes and get RAVE reviews. The only bad thing is that the cupcakes need to be made the day that you eat them. They get very dense if you have them the next day.

Spaghetti Squash Primavera

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2014
LOVE this and it is very easy to modify. We left out the zucchini and bell peppers and added olives. This was especially good with lemmon chicken. Super yummy and supper easy! Win-Win!

Easy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
Wow! This was super easy and very yummy. I used granola instead of oats and it turned out just as good. In fact, my teenager said that they tasted a lot better than the Nature's Valley Fruit & Nut granola bars that he loves. Oh, and the suggestion to put the can of condensed milk in warm water worked very well. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2011
Very good. I used 2 irish beers, 1 Tablespoon of garlic, 1 beef boulon, 3 bottles of water (used the beer bottle to measure), and 1 packet of spice mix. Save the broth because I boiled my potatoes for my mashed potatoes and they were EXCELLENT!

Ham Chowder

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
This was a very good base recipe. I took the advise of many reviewers and used 1/2 the rosemary and added about 1 tbl garlic. To make it a little healthier I omitted the bacon, used 1% milk and added fresh spinach. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Green Bean Casserole I

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
There was way too much milk so it wouldn't set. Also, make sure that if you use fresh green beans that you double the cook time.

Wake-Up Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
My mom is a flight attendent and makes this for when she has to travel (freezes it in individual servings). I make this during the weekend and then freeze it so I can have a nice hot easy to re-heat breakfast for when I get to work. This is a great starter recipe. We also add a layer of sour cream between the hash brown & egg layer and also include salsa w/ freshly chopped jalepenos ad cilantro.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
Absolutely the best deviled eggs I have EVER had. I added a few dashes of Tabasco to it and it was superb. If you use a bag to fill the eggs, I would recommend putting the crumbled bacon and cheese on top of the egg mixture AFTER you fill the eggs, otherwise, it clogs the opening.

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
This was the easiest recipe I have ever used and they were SOOOOO good. I used Snyder's Butter Snaps Pretzels and Dove chocolate covered carmels. I found that using both of these specific items worked best. Thanks for sharing!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
This was a very good recipe. Like other reviewers suggested, make sure you have all of your ingredients on hand BEFORE you start making the carmel. I buttered and salted my popcorn prior to adding the carmel mixture. I also put the popcorn on top of the nuts. I found that if I followed the directions and put the nuts on top of the popcorn, then the nuts got all of the yummy carmel and not the popcorn. Make sure to eat this quickly because it will go stale in a few days. If it does go stale, microwave it for about 20-30 seconds and eat immediately. Thank you for sharing!

Butternut Squash and Spicy Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
I must have done something wrong because this was inedible. I even tried to salvage it by adding cheese to it. Maybe it's possible that I had a bad butternut. I'm really sorry but I did not care for this at all.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
I was a little dissapointed in this recipe. I chose this because it does not use sour cream. I found that it was way too runny and not creamy enough. I appreciate you sharing it though.

Beer Brisket

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
This recipes is one of the best I have ever had. I didn't have any brown sugar and did not substitute. Even without it, it was still WONDERFUL. I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

2-Step Skillet Chicken Broccoli Divan

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
The recipes as it is written is a little bland so I enhanced it by adding rosemary, thyme, and garlic. Also, to make it a little healthier, I browned the chicken w/ PAM, used the reduced fat Cream of Chicken Soup, used chicken stock instead of milk, and used reduced fat cheese. It turned out VERY good especially when served over rice.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
This is a FABULOUS recipe and cheap to make. This ended up costing me less than $2 per person to make. My only suggestion is to broil the bread with cheese on top for a minute or two. I would recommend Provolone or Havarti. Great recipe. Thanks for sharing!!
