These were good and held together well, but by strictly going by the recipe, they tasted a bit bland. I will make them again using another reviewer's suggestion of adding dry onion soup mix to the meat mixture.

German Apple Cake I

I went exactly by the recipe, and this cake is fabulous! It's even better the next day, being very moist and not too sweet. Next time I bake one, I'm going to do a bit of experimenting, using only three apples and adding either walnuts or pecans.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

I decided to make this recipe exactly as is, then "tweak" it to my own taste when I made it again. That won't be necessary, though - it was perfect as is! I like the fact that it is very easy to make, and uses ingredients that are usually kept around my house. I will certainly be making this recipe again!

Quick and Easy Brownies

These are very tasty brownies! I did cut the flour down to one cup and used only three eggs as suggested - they broke apart when I cut them, but crumbled brownies and ice cream is STILL delicious! ;-)

Easy Roasted Pork

This is a fantastic recipe! Like another viewer, I read ALL of the reviews before I tried this recipe. I didn't have applesauce, so I used one can of Luck's fried apples with cinnamon. I cut the ginger back to 3/4 tsp. and used the original amount of brown sugar for my 2 lb. pork loin roast. I used an oven bag. Now - 1 hour of cook time in my electric oven at 325°F was not enough time; so, I turned it up to 350°F for 30 more minutes - GREAT! It didn't "fall apart", but, it wasn't the "shoe leather" that I was afraid that it might be. Next time, I'll try 350°F for 1 hour. Thanks for a delicious recipe that I will cook again!

Bacon-Wrapped Pineapple Bites

Get ready to do an oven cleaning from the bacon grease in the oven afterwards, BUT - the end result is a delicious appetizer! I made these a while back for a friend's party, and they were a huge hit! I brought home the empty plate.

Cranberry Sauce

This was the PERFECT cranberry sauce! I made it for Thanksgiving and it was delicious. I honestly think it was even better the day after Thanksgiving - it brought those turkey leftovers back to life! ;-)

Scottish Shortbread IV

This shortbread recipe is SO delicious and SO easy to make! Using only real butter results in a rich flavor, yet the amount of brown sugar is not overpowering with sweetness. I didn't alter the recipe one bit, and, they turned out wonderful! Thanks, Linda!
