Pork Supreme

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
I had a good amount of leftover pork tenderloin that I wanted to use up and this recipe was just the ticket. I usually make barbeque, but this is a much better recipe. The pork was very tender and the sauce was wonderful. I served it over rice and added a side vegetable and it was a quick dinner.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2012
Let me start by saying that my husband really doesn't like the way I make pork chops. After making this recipe, he said that they were the best pork chops I've made in 30 years! I had 4 boneless pork chops that I used for the recipe. I also doubled the sauce ingredients as suggested by others. I only cooked them for 45 minutes and then let them rest. They were cooked perfect. This recipe is a keeper.

Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
Oh my goodness, this is the best summer dessert. Made this for my family and they all loved it. With what was left, my husband kept sneaking pieces out of the freezer. Definitely a summer dessert to go to when you don't know what to make.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
Very creamy and good casserole. I too added some cooked broccoli to the mixture for a more complete meal. I also added shredded cheese when I served it but I think it could have been added prior to baking in the oven as well.

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
This is very good. I like it because it is only an 8x8 size so that is perfect for my husband and I. I have even heated up some that was left over in the microwave the next day and it was still good.

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2013
Wasn't sure about this recipe based on other's reviews. I decided to make it as written except I did cream the sugar with the oil, added the eggs and vanilla and then alternated the dry ingredients with the buttermilk. Made the topping as written and thought it was enough for the bread. Had it for bruch today and everyone liked it. Definitely will be making this again.

Baked Haddock

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2013
This fish was very good. I followed the directions but was a little skeptical about the 500 degree oven. But it cooked the fish perfectly. I didn't have any thyme so I sprinkled the fish with a little lemon pepper seasoning. I also cut back on the melted butter since my husband is watching his calories. All in all it was a great dish.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: May 2, 2013
Great cake. Made it for my family the other night and they all loved it. Followed the recipe exactly and it came out perfect. I was a little hesitant about leaving a cake in a Bundt pan for 1 1/1 hours since I thought for sure it wouldn't come out of the pan without a struggle. I actually tried to take it out sooner but it wouldn't budge. Wanted until 1 1/2 hours were up and it came out of the pan without sticking. Will be making this again.

Easiest Applesauce Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
Oh my goodness. This is the best applesauce cake ever. It is so moist it melts in your mouth. As the others have said, it only makes 2 not 3. You better hide the second one because it would be really easy to eat that one right away too. Awesome!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
Awesome recipe! The steak was very tender. The only change I made was that I didn't have any stewed tomatoes (not one of my favorites) so I added an 8oz. can of tomato sauce and it worked just as well. Will definitely make again.

Cinnamon Sweet Potato Slices

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2012
Wow, these were awesome. I've been making sweet potatoes only for holidays, but after making these, I will be making them more often. I melted the butter in the microwave and stirred the cinnamon and sugar into it. I then stirred the potatoes into the mixture to coat. I then transferred them onto the baking pan and baked for 15 minutes and then turned and baked for 15 minutes more. They were perfect. Will definitely make again.
