I really enjoyed this "lemony" spin on shortcake.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
Made this to use with the "Too Much Chocolate Cake" (made cupcakes instead of a bundt cake) recipe that is on AllRecipes. I followed the directions exactly and it was delicious! I brought the cupcakes into work and my co-workers LOVED them! I will definitely make this peanut buttery, delicious frosting again!

Broccoli and Garlic Penne Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
I enjoyed this dish, although I will admit that I did make some changes based on what some of the other reviews said. I made a roux using 2TBSP butter and 2TBSP cornstarch, and added that to thicken the sauce up. I also added an onion to the original sauce and used 1.5 cups of the chicken broth. I applied all herbs and seasonings to taste.

Hudson's Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2009
This recipe is quick, easy, and delicious. There was virtually zero prep time involved, and the results were delicious. I will definitely be adding this to my weekly dinner menu. Even my boyfriend who doesn't really like fish enjoyed this meal.

Blueberry Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
This sauce was excellent. Easy to make and turned out wonderfully. I was looking for a recipe at the last minute so that I would have something to top the Valentine's Day waffles that I made for my boyfriend and this turned out perfectly. Top with whipped cream and your set. Also, I used vanilla extract instead of almond and didn't have any cinnamon around so left that out as well and it still turned out great. I'm excited to make it again with all of the correct ingredients :)

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
This cheesecake was excellent. I really enjoyed the chocolate cookie crust. I left the seeds in the raspberry sauce (more because I had nothing to strain it with than anything else) and I actually really like the texture it added.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
I would definitely recommend increasing the sauce to pasta ratio. I cut back on the amount of pasta that I added (as I was cooking for only myself and my SO) and it was perfect. I also took the advice of others and cut back on the amount of pepper...you can always add more later. I will definitely make this recipe again.

Buttermilk Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
These cinnamon rolls were good, but I definitely should have made some type of icing to sweeten them up a bit, because, really, who wants a cinnamon roll without the frosting :)

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
Very quick and easy to make. I followed the instructions listed, but probably should have cut the amount of oil that I added as other users had recommended because it took at least 10 minutes longer for the cake to bake all the way through and I ended up covering it with tin foil to ensure that the exposed part didn't burn. I will definitely make this cake again though, especially if I am short on time.

Easy Mac and Jack

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
This recipe was indeed easy to make, and delicious too. I made it for a dinner party and all of the guests really enjoyed it. Upon the recommendation of previous folks' comments, I used 16oz of the Elbow Macaroni and that seemed to be the perfect amount for the cheese, but the next time I have 8 people over for dinner and make this recipe I will definitely make a double batch! I'm also planning on making this again sometime next week and adding in peas and some type of spicy sausage...lots of ream for improvision with this dish.

Pastry for Double-Crust Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
This crust is easy to make and turns out great everytime. I had never made a pie crust prior to this, but had always heard my family members talk about how the crust wasn't flaky enough, etc. This pie crust alleviates any worries.

It was okay, but it was a little bland, the potatoes took forever to achieve tenderness.

French Canadian Tourtiere

I don't cook a whole lot but I managed to make this dish without any problems. It turned out excellent, everyone enjoyed it and went back for seconds. The next time I make it I might try it with a few more veggies, but for those folks out there than enjoy their meat, this is the perfect recipe!

Best Formula Three-Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2007
I've made this fondue twice and both times have been a great success. The first time my boyfriend and I made it for ourselves, definitely more than we needed! The second time was for a potluck and we served it with Zenners sausages. It was a hit! I will definitely make it again!

Homesteader Cornbread

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
The cornbread was a little on the dry side, or so I thought. All of my guests seemed to enjoy it though and it did end up tasting a bit better the next day. Perhaps, do in part to the fact that I wasn't concerned about anyone other than myself enjoying it the second day.
