Soft Christmas Cookies
We loved these cookies! Used butter instead of margarine, baked on a Silpat rather than parchment. The only other change I made involved technique: instead of chilling and then rolling out with flour, I just divided my dough into two halves, and rolled out between two pieces of wax paper into a fairly thick layer. Not only is this WAY easier to roll (as the dough is slightly warm), but it also keeps the cookies very soft without all the added flour. Then I just refrigerated, peeled back the wax on the cold dough, and they were super easy to cut. We just sprinkled with colored sugar rather than iced, and they were great!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins
Wow, are these muffins *not* worth the clean-up. I followed the recipe exactly and am an experienced baker, and these were a MESS. Filling them to the top meant that the topping ran all over onto the oven floor, the muffins ran together into a coffee-cake looking mass, and I'm STILL working on cleaning both the tins and the oven. The muffin itself is just okay, and the topping is SO sweet you can't taste anything else. They're sitting in little crumbly piles on the cooling rack. Sad.

Bread Pudding II
Pretty good - definitely add nutmeg if you like it, it made the flavor much better. A bit watery for my taste but a great way to use up a crusty loaf of french bread!
