Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2012
If you find it bland, here are some suggestions from other readers. Make sure you liberally salt your macaroni water. Use evaporated milk and 1/2 C sour cream. added plenty of black pepper, about 1/2 tsp. of dry mustard, 1/2 onion, chopped and sauteed, a dash of worstershire sauce Some also added 1/2 block of cream cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella with very sharp cheese. Cook crispy bacon mixed with crushed croutons instead of bread crumbs or Ritz crackers.

The easiest & yummy. Once I simmered premade chicken cutlettes instead of sausage. Oh my ... family went wild and it took 15 minutes at the most.

Had to use up flour taco shells so I sliced and put them on the bottom of the greased baking dish. My children love the oowey goowey shells on bottoms of all caseroles. Thanks Cindy B for a nice recipe.

Oh My Were These Awesome. I Also Made Some Sweet Potatoes Just Like This. Thanks For The Recipe. I made a lot of packets and didn't add much more of the other ingredients besides more potatoes. Big hit and so easy to get them ready earlier in the day and just throw on grill. Best part was the taste and no clean up !
