Simple Hamburger Stroganoff
I remembered this recipe when I wanted to feed a friend going through dental problems and loosing too much weight. Its easy to make, extremely tasty, and it was enticing to my sick friend. I omitted the gravy mix (because I didn't have any) and I did make the sauce just a little thinner and used a little bit of garlic powder. Friend ate it all up and took the rest home for later. That makes me happy. Thank you for sharing.

Chef John's Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip
I messed up this recipe up and my guests still loved it. I messed up and used garlic salt instead of fresh garlic - duh - but I was able to fix it by adding some fresh tomato after it came out of the oven. The tomato made the dip just a little lighter and less salty. I'm going to make this again - and will follow the instructions exactly - and I'm sure my guests will still love it. (Umm, I served it with tortilla chips and perhaps that's where I was getting some of the excess salt taste.)

Restaurant-Style Prime Rib Roast
Back again for another year of Christmas Prime Rib. This will be year 3 of using this recipe - and everyone raves about my prime rib. I also was skeptical about the 425 temperature - but it works like gold. This year I have a 9 pound prime rib which I will cook for an hour and a half at the recommended 425 temp, with an hour of resting (we like our meat rare to medium rare). This recipe makes me look like a pro in the kitchen every year. Thank you for sharing.
