Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
I really like pork and my husband does not really care for it. So i am always trying to find recipes for pork to win him over on it. These were very good. My husband said "for pork I'd give it five stars but if you are comparing it to steak I'd go about 3 stars". So thats about as good as you can get from him. I used garlic powder instead of garlic salt because I figured my Ritz crackers had enough salt. Easy to prepare and my whole house enjoyed eating them.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
First of all...no eggs means this is a cookie dough thats safe to eat!!! These are great cookies. I have made them twice now and planned to make them a regular thing. I love the chocolate chips and raisins together. If you are looking for a spicy oatmeal cookie this isn't it. If you are looking for a yummy treat...this IS it.

Excellent Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
Yummy. Just what I was looking for. I did add more broccoli as the 5 cups did not look like enough. I steamed it and then put it through the food processor to very finely chop it. I am not a processed cheese fan, but since I happened to have some I used it. It tasted good with it. This makes a super huge pot of soup. My 5 children and I ate it (husband won't go near soup...esp if it has broccoli in it) and its not even 1/2 gone.

i thought this was great. I added some extra veggies and used 5 spice powder as its impossible to find fresh ginger in this area.

When I make this my children eat a ton! Everyone loves it. They prefer me to leave out the regular potato and just use all sweet.

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2015
My family loved these. I made a lot so they would have leftovers for lunch the next day. A couple children were fighting over who got more. Will definitely make these again.

My Country Style Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
My family loved this!! The meat turned out super super tender. The gravy was great on mashed potatoes. Very easy to make too. I served with mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, and steamed broccoli. This will definately get made around here again.

Melissa's Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
This is a great turkey meatloaf. I made it last week and again this week...and I usually don't repeat recipes that quick. My family loved it. I did substitute ketchup for the tomato soup on top.

Tammy's Favorite Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
this was a great lasagna. The white sauce sets it apart from others and makes it creamy and delicious. I used a pound of ground turkey (I always use this instead of red meat) and a pound of italian turkey sausage. I think the red sauce would be a little bland without some sausage. I didn't realize I was out of eggs so I left it out of the white sauce and it was still fine, not missed. My family loved this. The kids ate it right up. I will make this my new standard recipe.

very good. The kids loved it. I did reduce the mustard by quite a bit knowing they would not like it if they could detect it in the recipe.

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
I normally don't really like to make tuna casserole with "cream of" soups but I had no milk in the house tonight so had to resort to the can! I saw some reviews saying this was dry so I added in a 1/3 cup mayo and it was not dry at all. i sauteed the onion in butter and added in some chopped red pepper as well. I turned out very well.

Simple Guacamole

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2011
I usually like cilantro in my Guacamole but didn't have any and had a craving (pregnant!) so I gave this a shot. Its very good! I was surprised since it was so basic with so few ingredients. I'd make it again.

Fettuccini Alfredo I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2012
This is not the richest or creamiest alfredo out there. However, being void of the ingredients that normally contribute to richness (heavy cream and/or cream cheese) this is lower in fat, calories and thus healthier. It is good, not remarkable. Its perfect for when dinner sneaks up on you and you have little time and few ingredients to work with. Its quick and easy to make (my 14 year old son made this and he has very little cooking experience. Basically if you are looking for a fantastic tasting alfredo, this is not it, if you are looking for a quick, satifying, easy meal...give it a try.

Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
This is a great recipe to use when you have very little time and a near empty pantry. Its nothing like my normal "cook all day" ingredient loaded sauce but for a meal in a snap this is really good. My kids love it.
