I always feel I am in my element when I am in the kitchen cooking. And don't hate me for this one ladies, but also when I am cleaning the entire house to be spick and span clean.

Carne asada tacos from scratch....the real deal. Also, spaghetti sauce from scratch.

Comfort foods my mother raised me on that I fed my children growing up.
My cooking triumphs
For the first time in my life, I did a Prime Rib Roast for Christmas of 2011. Dry aged it for 5 days which I had never done, also. Perfecto!!! My daughter said it is THE Christmas meal I have to make from here on out.

Scott's Coast-to-Coast Famous Chicken Wings
This exact recipe, ,excluding the garlic powder, has been around for a long time. I have been making this recipe for about 18 years. They are my favorite.

Zucchini Herb Casserole
I made these at home and then took leftovers to work the next day. My coworker loved them. I thought they were a 3 1/2 to a 4 but not a five star recipe. They do need more seasoning but that is all so individual that no one can tell your taste buds exactly what they need to be. You will have to experiment and find out for yourself but it is a good recipe.

Restaurant-Style Potato Skins
Do not miss trying these! I made these for the first time about a year and a half ago and these were the best ever. They remind me of my most favorite potato skins I had many years ago in California. They are a little work but well worth it if you love potato skins. The only other thing I added to ingredients was green onion which I love on these. Delicious!!!
