Zucchini Lunchixa

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
This was an odd combo. I made it exactly as directed, against my better judgement. Chicken should had definitly been sauteed before vegetables so it can brown, zucchini got soggy. And two tablespoons of butter for one serving is a lot. I used two tablespoons for the whoel dish (3 chicken breast halves and 3 zucchini) Its bland.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
This was excellent. The saltines gave it a nice flavor, I don't generally like the flavor of the breadcrumbs so it was a nice alternative. Mixed the ketchup with the brown sugar, dijon mustard and some worshteshire and put it on top. I wouldnt really add too much more to change. Was really good.

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2008
This was really good, made it in the oven. The sausage flavor mingles over all the veggies and it tastes great. I put in in a 400 degree oven for 40 mins, the potatoes were still firm so put it back in for and additional 20 mins at 425. Can't wait to make this on a camping trip!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
This had a good flavor. Did seem a little dry. Perhaps a loin is not the best cut.

This was pretty good, a little on the too creamy side, missing that extra zip.

Skillet Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
This was ok, not the best recipe to bring out a good pork flavor. Mostly tasted like bread crumbs and soup.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
This soup was very good. Had a hambone left over from easter dinner so I just covered it in water, simmered that for an hour and a half, then threw in 3 large potatoes (could have used more), hadfull of julienne carrots, one onion, and 3 stalks of celery. took ham off bone, through that back in, added 3 tbl chicken broth and then did the rue, added that. turned our really great. nice alternative to bean soups.

Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2007
made this yesterday. will be a staple in my recipe box. it was very good. made exactly as directed, didn't change a thing because it wasn't necessary. i wouldn't recommend substituting onions for leeks because the flavor simply won't be the same.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2007
This recipe was pretty good. I prefer ones that have you put the meat in raw so it forms a little meat loaf and sticks to the pepper.
