Great for kids themed party, use appropriate sprinkles. I used melted chocolate chips and crisco to make a chocolate dip. Worked great!

Upside Down Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2009
I rate this a 3 because there was nothing wrong with the dish, but I wouldn't make it again. My husband picked at it and I had too much left over. It wasn't anything special. However, it was easy to prep ahead of time and heat up for dinner.

Pear-a-dise Muffins

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
I rate this 2 stars because it is edible. There is nothing wrong with the recipe, it just doesn't produce a good tasting muffin. They aren't foul, just not really tasty. Too much work for a bland, boring muffin. I doctored the original recipe, using fragrant, ripe pears and added more spice. It didn't help. I would make banana bread or blueberry muffins instead.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
I made this for a cinco de mayo party. It was gone in minutes. Everyone LOVED it. I did use 3/4 cup white sugar in the cream cheese part and 1/4 cup brown sugar in the topping. With the added honey, it was sweet, but not so much it made your teeth ache. I chilled the entire dessert in the fridge overnight and it was very easy to cut. It looked really nice. Very easy and impressive.

I made these and they were disapointing. They were soggy. I will try them again, though.

I make these for thanksgiving. They are yummy and easier and healthier to make than creamed onions.

Oven Fried Parmesan Chicken

When I oven fry chicken, I use this recipe. It is great. It makes the house smell so wonderful. My dog counter surfed and took a whole tray of cooking chicken! Now I have to hide the chicken while it cools!

It is a nice change from traditonal taco meat. It would also be yummy served like hash with some eggs.

Slow Cooker Ham

Super easy, great segway to a wonderful dinner. I used a spiral ham. Mixed brown sugar and pineapple juice. Cooked on low for 4 hours. I did cover the meat with tinfoil and then put the crockpot lid over. Worked great.

I wasn't so sure about the staple. It did not blow up my microwave. The popcorn was great and it will save me a ton of money!

I used pollock, I used panko and it was a quick and tasty way to cook fish. It didn't make the house smell fishy, which is nice.

I followed the recipe. It was very good. I plan to add my own touches (hot sauce and more seasoning) the next time I make it. It is quick to prep and tasty.
