Very bland dish...I will give it one more try using more of the red curry paste and perhaps more red pepper too.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2007
Expected this soup to be a little thicker, so next time I will add a little of the Golden's Soup & Sauce flour...but the flavor was out of this world!! VERY YUMMY and would pass for gourmet soup! Easy too.

Mushroom Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2007
The sauce came out watery, so I added tomato paste. I also added basil and parsley, minced garlic and some spices to give it a kick...chicken came out dry, would add the chicken about 1 1/2 - 2 hours before the cooking is done. I also didn't brown the chicken, I felt there is no need to do that when it will cook in the sauce while adding flavor to it at the same time. Hint, I dice my chicken in 1 in. cubes to save time of having to do that on the back end. Might try this again, otherwise will move on in my quest to find a really great cacciatore recipe.

Oven Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2007
Awesome!! I seared beef as directed then slow cooked on low for 7 hours. I added a cup of beef broth to the mushroom soup and 1/2 cup of wine...also added thyme and fresh groud pepper before pouring over beef and potatoes. Gravy was awesome! Thickened it to desired consistency in sauce pan with Golden's Gravy Flour - beautiful!!!

Texas Ranch Potato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2007
YUMMY! You can completely play with this receipe to "fit" your taste. Because red potatoes come in different sizes in a 5 pound bag, I precut the potatoes BEFORE boiling into even cubes for even cooking.
