I had almost all of the ingredients already in my cupboard, and the ones I didn't have were easy substitutions. I used a half cup of corn syrup since I had no honey, wheat bran instead of wheat germ, and tossed in some rice krispies, coconut, sliced almonds, and raisins. I cut back on flour a little since I added krispies, not really even measuring, just a half a handful here and there. It cut nicely into 12 meal sized bars, making it my new healthy (cheap) energy bar. Why pay $2 a piece when these were so fool proof and delicious? Thank you!!!
