Best Ever Banana Bread

The texture and flavor of this recipe are far superior to the recipes that call for butter or margarine. It moist but not oily like I find those recipes to be. Excellent banana flavor. Thanks for sharing.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Excellent muffin--even without the streusel topping. But I cannot figure out how this make 8 jumbo muffins. I barely get 8 regular size muffins from one batch.

Easy Lemon Cookies

I used fresh lemon zest instead of lemon extract. We like the delicate lemon flavor. Not too strong, but definitely lemony.

Spinach with a Twist

Strawberry Jam

Delicious!! I was surprised that a non-pectin jam would thicken, but it did-perfectly. Full of strawberry flavor-not too sweet. Many recipes call for 2 cups of fruit, so I wonder if those reviewers who say this is too sweet were sure to use 2 POUNDS of berries. A keeper of a recipe.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Have been using Brooke's Bombshell Brownies, but found the top "crust" too thick and hard. So gave these a try...EXCELLENT!! Just the right amount of sweetness, but I did increase the cocoa to 2/3 cup and next time I will decrease the flour a little. This is a definite keeper recipes.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

very nice flavor. I used my own whipped cream recipe. But, too much milk, it puddles on the bottom. I will make again, but will reduce the amount of whole milk to 1 cup instead of two.

Pumpkin Cheesecake I

I panicked when I couldn't find my pumpkin cheesecake recipe for Thanksgiving. Gave this one a try and was very pleased. Made it in a 9 in springform, using graham cracker crust instead of pastry shells. Yummy!

Brussels Sprouts with Apples

The apples added nothing to this recipe-they were totally overpowered by the brussel sprouts. I was expected a little sweetness or apple flavor to enhance the brussel sprouts but nothing.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Delicious. My Italian family loved it. For the reviewer who said the meatballs were hard and dry--did you use fresh breadcrumbs as stated in recipe. You CANNOT substitute dry, canned breadcrumbs. The sauce was very good ( I used about 1/2 the salt). Next time I think I'll add some sweet Italian sausage for extra flavor. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

I have made these brownies several times and really liked them, but the top was always too crusty. So I cut the sugar down to 2 cups--perfect. For those who find the original recipe too sweet and/or too chocolately this does the trick. Still chewy and chocolately--just right

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III

This recipe is perfect as written. I have made it many times, but this last time I decided to take other reviewers' recommendation to substitute 1/2 the butter with shortening. This is a mistake-it throws off the flavor and texture. Will stick with original recipe from now on.

Best Tuna Casserole

Should have sauted the onion first. Didn't care for the taste of it going in casserole raw. The potato chips really didn't anything. My daughter thought they were a odd combo with the noodles. will omit them next time

Parsleyed Rice Pilaf

I did not have dried minced onion. So, I used a few tablespoons chopped fresh onion which I sauted in the butter to soften before adding the rest of the ingredients. Turned out delicious. I think 1/4 cup dried minced onion would have been too strong.
