Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
I loved this dish! It was very easy to make. I doubled the recipe and put it in a 9x13 pan and baked it for about an hour. It came out perfect. Firm, yet moist. I also added some chopped green onion like another reviewer suggested. I brought it to a family party and it was a hit! Definitely will make again.

Dilly Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
Yum! I followed the recipe exactly, but cut the butter to 1.5 tablespoons. These eggs were fluffy and very flavorful. I will make these again.

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
This is a great basic recipe, very easy to make and tasty. However my batter turned out a little thick, I agree with one reviewer, add a little more water to get a crepe batter consistency.

Gooey Butter Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
I brought this cake to a bbq and it was a hit. I followed the recipe exactly, although I did cut back on the sugar. I used 2 1/2 cups and sprinkled a little of it on the top when it was done. It was still very sweet, but pretty good and very rich. I also baked it for 30 minutes instead of the 40 as stated in the recipe. I should probably have took it out at 35 minutes so it would have firmed up a little in the middle. Still a hit though. Would be great with some vanilla ice cream on top!

Creamy Lemon Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
I love the fact this pie has only three ingredients (well, four if you count the pie crust). I also increased the fresh lemon juice to 1/2 a cup and added a little less than 1/4 teaspon of lemon zest. It was really sweet and tangy. I stirred the whipped cream into the lemon/milk mixture, but didn't use all of whipped cream. Just enough to mellow out the lemon and to add more volume to the pie. I added a view drops of yellow food coloring to give it more of a lemon color, and spread whipped cream on the top. Sprinkled a little bit of lemon zest on the top and put a few lemon rinds for decoration. Stuck it in the freezer to firm up.

Brazilian Lemonade

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
I made this for a small gathering, and it was a hit. Not only is it easy to make, the ingredients are inexpensive and go a long way. I would make this again. It might also be good with a little rum mixed in. :)

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
I made this for dinner last night, both my Husband and I loved it. I didn't have some ingredients on hand, so I had to improvise. Instead of the onion (which I didn't have) I put in chopped garlic. I didn't have any saltine's, so I mixed in some Italian seasoned bread crumbs. I didn't have any ginger either, so I put in a small amount of cinnamon. I would make this again for sure!

Buttermilk Syrup

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
This recipe was very easy to make. It was thick and caramely. However, I'm not sure if I messed up and put too much baking soda, but I could really taste it in the syrup. I couldn't eat much of it because of that.
