Corn Dog Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2007
This is an easy and delicious recipe. Just like real corndogs, the slightly sweet cornmeal goes so well with the salty, savory hotdogs. I used turkey dogs to save a few calories.

Cheesy Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
This tastes just like the garlic bread at my favorite Italian restaurant! I served it at a dinner party Saturday night and everyone left with the recipe!

This dish is full of flavor and texture. I was amazed that such a tasty and interesting dish could be made with so few ingredients and so little prep time. This one is a keeper.

Pasta with Mock Creamy Tomato Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
I found this sauce to be very flavorful and unusual. After reading some reviews commenting that the sauce was missing something, I tried using beef broth instead of veggie broth. It worked - the sauce was delicious. And the bit of chili paste adds a perfect background of heat.

Lithuanian Krupnikas

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
I followed this recipe exactly as stated - and it is amazing! It was pretty potent when it first went into the bottles, but after just 3 months, it mellowed into an incredible, smooth, sweet and spicy sipping drink. Every time I give someone a sample, they ask for more!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
Insanely good. Guests at my party couldn't get enough of this spread. It's amazing how much it really tastes like a jalapeno popper. I doubled the amount of canned jalapenos and added 1 fresh jalapeno. It gave it just the right amount of spice.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
These were easy to make and fun to assemble. My husband went ga-ga over them and has requested that I make them again this weekend! I used a can of Rotel instead of the tomato soup - it added spice and texture.

Mom's Smoked Salmon Fried Rice

Reviewed: May 13, 2010
This recipe is a new and exciting way to use our bountiful supply of smoked salmon. The dish is quick and easy and the peas and onion harmonize well with the smoked salmon. Thanks for the new idea!

Baked Zucchini Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
These were delicious and exciting. We felt like we had ordered deep fried zucchini at a pub! We double-dipped the zucchini to make sure it was flavorful and crunchy - and it was. Be sure to season the breadcrumbs like many other reviewers suggested.

Pork Chop 'n' Kraut Dinner

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
Bought my first pressure cooker yesterday and this was the first dish I made in it. Simply fabulous! Pork was moist and the potatoes were flavorful - all with so few ingredients. I am so glad that my first experience with the pressure cooker was such a good one.

Pressure Cooker Carnitas

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
Just bought our first pressure cooker and was excited to try this recipe. We were a bit dissapointed though. While the meat was incredibly tender and juciy, it seriously lacked flavor. We ended up adding a lot of seasoning and spices after the cooking was done.

Wisconsin Native's Beer Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
We made this soup for a Packer's party last weekend. It was the hit of the party. It has a good balance between cheesy, beery and veggy flavors.

Strawberry Soup III

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
What a pleasant suprise this recipe was! I was merely trying to use up some leftover buttermilk, and I stumbled upon an absolute keeper! I used frozen whole strawberries and the mixutre turned out like a soft frozen sherbert with just the right amount of tanginess. Can't wait to make this again.

Best of Everything Veggie Burgers

Delicious. Lots of exciting flavors and textures in this burger. I altered slightly by adding one fresh jalapeno and using ground old fashioned oats instead of bread crumbs.

Cabbage Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2011
We devoured these joes! Tasty, with great texture. And we loved the 'healthy' aspect with the added cabbage. We will be making these again - perhaps reducing the sugar and/or ketchup a bit.
