Microwave Scalloped Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
This was just ok. It took alot longer to cook at 70% then it said it would. I had to add 4 extra minutes and then I finally cooked another two minutes at 100%. It was really bland.

Ziti with Tomato-Pesto Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
This recipe is incredibly easy and healthy. I used Prego sauce and pesto with basil. Yum-o! All my kids (ages 17, 14, and 5) ate seconds. We served it with frozen cheesy garlic bread and had dinner on the table in 30 minutes!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
Ok, y'all. I gave them five stars because of the batter you cook them in. I love buffalo wings, so I thought the whole thing was great, but my family doesn't do spicy. I have used the recipe minus the sauce for Sunday fried chicken.

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2012
I read the reviews and decided to do what others had already done: diced frozen chicken breasts seasoned the chicken with adobe pepper, garlic powder, lemon peel, and cilantro (pretty much what I pulled out of the cabinet, went on the chicken!). Then I cooked it in olive oil (Pam spray). I used chicken broth instead of the water, and omitted the chicken bouillon. Then I added crushed club crackers and topped it off with shredded cojack cheese. My family definitely want this again! It is a great base recipe that you can easily adapt to your taste!

Ham with Honey and Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
I was nervous at first because I didn't think it smelled very good. Then I took a bite. This is amazing!! I have already had requests for it again. There was none left and my hubby was sad for no leftovers. I used crushed pineapple and orange juice, and probably more brown sugar than it called for. YUM-O

Devil's Steak Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
I hate steak sauce....except for this one. It is just the right amount of sweet and tart. Make this one...and make a double batch. You can thank me later.

Easy Never Forgotten Guacamole

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
I substitued season salt for garlic powder because I was out of the garlic powder. This didn't make it past the 3 hour mark...it was devoured with begging for more and the recipe. Make this dip!!

Perfect dessert on a hot day. I used sugar free jello and it turned out fine. Also drained the mandarin oranges prior to adding them in.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
I have never had such a wonderful pot pie!!! Here are my shortcuts: double the sauce, but you definitely won't use it all. I also used Tyson diced chicken frozen and already cooked. I boiled it with chicken broth, drained the broth to make the sauce, and used frozen mixed veggies. I also basted the pie crusts / egg whites. Seriously folks, THE BEST. My family has asked me to make this once a week. My daughter said it was better than Cracker Barrel.

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
Not a hit with the younger kids, and I have to admit, it looked kinda gross as I was making it, but they really are great for tailgating or watching the game at home. Pickles were a nice compliment. Everyone thought they tasted like the restaurant sliders. I used Miracle Whip and Hawaiin slider rolls.

Too spicy, and yet not much of a taste. I think I'll add chicken if I make it again.
