I am a born again Child of God and I love my Savior! I am married with two small children and stay at home with them. I have 5 siblings and we all live within a few hours of each other and always have a blast on holidays and family get togethers!
My favorite things to cook
I absolutely love to make dinner for my family! We sit down for dinner together every night and get to unwind together.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up eating dinner together as a family every night, so I guess that's why it is important to me. That, and baking Christmas cookies. That is always an all day family affair!
My cooking tragedies
I once made a potato soup when I was in highschool. My sisters were crying because they didn't want to eat it and my brother literally threw a spoonful of it at the wall when my mom tried to make him eat it! Needless to say, I have never made potato soup again. :)

Old Time Chicken Divan
awesome, just like my grandma made. I used white wine instead of sherry and it was still delish! Also, very easy! Bake it on top of rice, steamed the brocolli. Loved it!

Slow Cooker Lentils and Sausage
we loved this recipe!! I browned the sausage in a frying pan w/ a half an onion (chopped)before adding it to the rest of the ingrediants. I also added 1 beef bouillon cube and a 1/2 teaspoon of a garlic herb seasoning mix that came w/ my bag of lentils. Turned out excellent, even the kids (4 & 3) loved it! I am making it again tonight (I made it for the first time about a week and a half ago) and the whole house smells delicious right now!

Easy Meatloaf
Very good, my new meatloaf recipe. I used 2 eggs and extra bread crumbs since I didn't have lean ground beef and I didn't have a problem with having to drain off any grease. I also made the sauce with only 1 tablespoon brown sugar and it was plenty sweet for us. The whole family loved it!
