My favorite things to cook
Baking is my forte. Cookies, cakes, muffins - you name it. I love making it! I also like making food with a Southwest / Mexican appeal, but I'm open to try just about anything.
My cooking triumphs
I have learned how to 'hide' or 'sneak' in healthier options. (Chocolate Zucchini Muffins made with baby food prunes and applesauce). Spinach is a good filler in lasagna - just chop it super finely, and mix it INTO the red sauce as you layer! I'm not going full-boar, by any means, but small steps to eek in fruits and veggies into the family's diet. ( Although, my lil' lady will choose fresh fruits & raw veggies every chance she gets!:) )
