A NYC girl, currently living in Albany. I have been cooking since I can remember. In high school I went to a cooking class on the side. Went to Johnson & Wales Univ in RI majoring in Culinary Arts, got an A.A.S. in Culinary Arts, then switched to Culinary Nutrition for my B.S. Now working as a Registered Dietitian at an HIV Clinic here in Albany.
My favorite things to cook
Vegetarian, since I am one. No meat for me. I like Indian foods and Thai foods right now, and learning how to cook them is exciting. Also like to cook hearty Italian dishes.

My cooking triumphs
Worked at The Splendor of Florence during college and had the opportnity to work with chefs from Florence, Italy and learn their age old tricks of the trade. Also traveled to Germany, France and Switzerland during a summer wine class.
My cooking tragedies
Working the hearth pizza oven at The Bistro restaurant at Foxwoods Casino in CT. They always used to stick and burn to the bottom!
