Grilled Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
Great recipe! I brined the turkey overnight, otherwise I followed the recipe. Some family members were skeptical about a grilled turkey, but the first bite wiped their skepticism away. I will definately make this again.

Jalapeno Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
My family LOVED this! I added a little dry ranch dressing mix and some shredded cheddar to the cream cheese. I seeded and removed the membrane from the peppers, then boiled them for 2 minutes to remove the heat. It was too cold to grill, so I cooked the chicken on an electric griddle. FABULOUS! Next time, and there WILL be a next time, I will follow the recipe as written, as I'm quite sure it's great without my "tweaks". Thanks for a new favorite!

Marshmallow Fondant

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
Very easy and tasty too! I have several colors in my fridge right now. It keeps very well if you rub the surface with shortening and wrap in plastic. I have also used it without letting it rest and had great results. I agree with another reviewer...adult play-dough...fun!

Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
I used the cake and filling recipe for a baby shower cake. I used a different frosting recipe and covered in fondant. The cake was very moist and delicious and the filling was OMG good! Will be using this one a lot. Thanks.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
I had never tried peanut butter pie before, just didn't sound good to me. However, I was looking for something easy, cool, and different and tried this recipe. It is wonderful! My husband kind of turned his nose up when I said peanut butter pie, but I got him to try a bite of mine and he immediately went to the freezer to get his own. I usually make two of all desserts and take one to my daughter; hubby saw the second pie and said "You're not taking the other one to Brandi are you?". So, I had to make two more! My son and his GF took a piece to the hospital where her mom is a nurse, and she and her friend were "fork-fighting" over the last bite! Son came home with a request for a whole pie to take to them. I made two more and sent one to the hospital. He came home and gave me $20 that the friend insisted I take. I gave him the other pie to take to her! Thanks for the fabulous recipe. Oh, the only change I made was to use a Nutter Butter crust that another reviewer suggested.

Belle's Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Awesome! I have made these two days in a row. My family says I am NOT to buy buns again! I made hamburger and hot dog buns last night, served jalapeno cheese deer sausage with the hot dog buns. Made hamburger buns and hoagie buns tonight and served chicken salad. Will make these again and again. Thanks. (I used my bread machine dough cycle).

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
Although I have made these probably fifty times, I'm just getting around to reviewing them. I have made them as written and also made them adding dry ranch dressing mix and shredded cheddar to the cream cheese. They are delicious either way. They are a favorite at our house!

Turtle Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
YUM! This was awesome. I made it for my son's 18th birthday. I did make a couple of changes. I used a can of boiled sweetened condensed milk in place of the caramels. I LOVE the taste. I swirled the melted chocolate into the batter to make it marbled instead of fully mixing the chocolate in. Thanks for the recipe. It will be used many times!

Ciabatta Bread

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
I made this to serve with pasta salad, but both loaves were gone before I even stated preparing the salad! The first loaf was gone before it cooled. Will make again and again. Thanks.
