About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love baking. So cookies are probably my favorite to make, even though I am not a cookie fan.
My cooking tragedies
Apparantly baking powder and baking soda are different. Learned the hard way.

Banana Sour Cream Bread
I don't know who needs 4 loaves so I halved the recipe and used a 9x5 loaf pan (a shallower pan would've been better). I left out sugar recipe for bottom of pan. I don't think its necessary 2 eggs 3 bananas (thats all i had) 3/4 cup of sugar (cut back on the sugar because of other reviewers, but it needs more!!! I'd say 1 cup to 1-1/4) 8oz of sour cream 1tsp of vanilla 1tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1-3/4 baking soda 2-1/2 cups of flour 1/3 cup 1tbsp and tsp butter (awkward i know) no walnuts, so i used 3/4 cup of raw halved pecans 300 degrees 1 hour (because of the pan I used I think I ended up baking for about an hour and a half. I would recommend upping the heat to 325-350, especially for a deeper loaf pan.)

Puppy Chow
made this for my bf who couldn't get enough of it at a party. I'm not really a chocolate fan, so I used about a cup, no more. 1 cup of peanut butter. 1 TSP of vanilla extract. And I think I used close to 2 cups of powdered sugar. I kept adding more and more, mostly to get the nice white color on the squares. Probably could have used even more. A grocery paper bag was used for the shaking which definitely helped.
