I can think of a thousand ways to fancy this cake up for company or a holiday but...it's perfect just the way it is. My husband also loved it warm right out of the oven. I'm thinking a thickened pineapple or apricot fruit sauce would be wonderful. Going to try making this using a chocolate cake mix.

Chocolate Brittle Surprise

This is a fun, easy and Cheap recipe to make and looks like a million. To hurry the process along, after adding the chips I did put it back in the oven for about a minute and then spread the chocolate. I'm thinking I might also top with marachino or candied cherries next batch. There goes the diet!

Little Broccoli Bites

Other than converting to recipe to make 30 I followed it exactly. They were very dry and not much flavor. I will fool around with the basic recipe again though. Nothing like the ones from Friday's.
