Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2014
This was my first attempt at making these, but will not be the last! I didn't have any raisins so I just used 2 cups of craisins that I had in the freezer. Delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

Oven-Baked Caramel French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
Made this when I got word that I needed to make brunch for 15 people. It was great! I cut french bread into bite size pieces and only did 1 layer. I also only used 5 eggs and 1 cup of milk (I don't like soggy french toast) It turned out great. The toast got nice and crispy, and with the carmel sauce poured over the top...YUM!

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
I do not bake because it is too much work, These are the easiest cookies I have ever made! I followed the recipe exactly, with one exception, I rolled the bolls in sugar, then pressed with a fork. They were perfectly cooked in exactly 12 minutes! They are so light and just melt in your mouth! My Husband just came back for his 3rd helping after a huge ham dinner!!!

Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
Great recipe! I had heard about beer chicken but had never tried. I did change the spices a little bit...I melted the butter and added fresh rosemary, garlic and garlic salt and brushed the chicken with that throughout the cooking time. The only thing that I think I would change is putting the oven up to 350, and cooking for a shorter time. It seemed to get a little tough around the edges cooking that long. Just a thought...

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
I have made these twice in the past week. We are now into football season so I am always looking for new things to make. These take a little longer to make but are worth every minute! I adjust the spices a bit...I put in paprika, garlic salt and use Italian bread crumbs. Thanks for a great recipe!
