Italian Wedding Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
With several modifications, I might enjoy this recipe better next time. Thought it was sort of bland. Next time I will try turkey instead of beef for meatballs; more seasoning; green onions; and maybe more cheese in the soup.

Blueberries n' Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
The cream cheese layer was bitter; I added more sugar, and it was still just ok. There's also a better recipe for the whipped cream: 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 1 T Confectioners sugar, and 1 t vanilla.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
This was my first year making Thanksgiving dinner, and I will continue to make this recipe every year. My family loved it saying it was the best they'd ever had. Cooking time was only about 4 hrs and 45 min. I used fresh herbs and only 2.5 cups broth. Two large loafs of bread made just enough bread cubes. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Macaroni and Cheese V

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
My husband and I enjoyed the original Mac and Cheese V recipe; however, we think there's room for improvement. Personally, we'd like more than 2 cups of cheese next time, and we'll include Parmesan for it's saltiness. Also, I recommend using whole milk for a thicker mac and cheese. 1/4 tsp dry mustard was not enough; we couldn't taste it at all. So, next time I'll at least double it. This recipe was a good starting point for homemade macaroni.

Pumpkin Puree

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2008
This recipe was very easy. The pumpkin fell right out of the skins. Thanks for posting it!

Italian Green Bean Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
With a few of the changes that other reviewers suggested, this recipe receives five stars. I added 3/4 Tbs each of dried Parsley, Basil, and Oregano. I didn't have canned tomatoes at the time, but 3 fresh tomatoes diced worked great. My husband and I really enjoyed this quick and delicious recipe.

Fluffy Pancakes with Wheat Germ and Applesauce

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
I may have goofed the recipe, but I did not care for these pancakes. They were more doughy than fluffy and were not very flavorful.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
The balsamic-glazed salmon was delicious. At first, we cooked the glaze over too high of heat which made the sauce thicken too quickly. Our second attempt went very well, however, and we will definitely be enjoying this recipe again.
